One of my favorite street photography subjects is other photographers. For one thing, they should be totally into being photographed themselves. And for another, their subject matter is one data point in a database of the whole range of human interests. In this image, made at the Evergreen Brick Works, we also see a less common side of photography, making images together. This is photography as an exercise in co-making, and we can only guess at the relationship between the two photographers. Perhaps they are fellow students, perhaps friends… perhaps even more.
